Guido Harari’s shooting backstage video

Documenting with a video the work of the great photographer Guido Harari, engaged in his ‘Ritratti Sospesi’ project, was a great honour and a great lesson! Guido knows how to get in tune with the people he portrays, but he leaves nothing to chance, he pays attention to detail and looks for something precise in each portrait, a very personal interpretation that gets to the heart of the beholder and the person being looked at and recognises himself. The ‘Ritratti Sospesi’ are dedicated to the ‘invisibles’ that the photographer has met at some of Milan’s realities dedicated to hospitality. Among them, VIDAS, with whom I have been collaborating with love for some years as a videomaker. A universal gaze, which mixes those who assist and those who are assisted and erases their differences, is the hallmark of this series of portraits that was part of the exhibition ‘Occhi di Milano’ (Eyes of Milan) at the Fabbrica del Vapore exhibition space.
