Linea Verde Discovery is a television programme produced by Tvcom and broadcast on the Italian channel Rai 1.
The programme deals with issues related to Italian agriculture and its excellences in the food and wine and agri-food sector, very important sectors of the national economy. The programme also features recipes made with local ingredients.
I shot the video footage of the recipe for risotto with persimmons and coffee prepared by the famous Italian chef Giancarlo Morelli in his splendid and prestigious restaurant in Milan.
We described in pictures and through the chef’s voice the various steps in the preparation of the risotto.
Seeing the chef at work and being able to stand in his beautiful kitchen was extraordinary. In the kitchen there is also a corner with a sideboard and a wooden table where customers can have lunch in contact with the chefs preparing food for them. This expression of conviviality reflects Giancarlo Morelli’s passion for cooking as an intimate, family experience rooted in Italian tradition.
